Prepare useful evidence before the call
You will name the interview, add a CV, add the role, check what Elocira extracted, and reach the Ready step. The CV and job description are optional, and each interview accepts one of each in the guided setup flow. Allow about six minutes if your files are ready.

Add candidate and role context in four steps
Name the interview
Choose Start your new interview and enter a name you will recognize later, such as “Northstar Labs — Senior Product Manager.” The name organizes the interview; it is not used as evidence about your experience.
Upload one CV
On the CV step, drop or select a PDF or DOCX file up to 5 MB. Elocira extracts the document's text so the copilot can use relevant projects, responsibilities, skills, and outcomes. Review the uploaded file and replace it if you chose the wrong version.
Use a current CV whose claims you can explain. Specific contributions and measured results are more useful than broad adjectives because they give you concrete evidence to adapt when a matching question arrives.
Add the job description
Paste a public job-posting URL and choose Scrape, or switch to Upload and add a PDF or DOCX. Elocira extracts readable role text such as responsibilities, required skills, and priorities. If a site blocks access or the result is incomplete, save the description as a document and upload that instead.
Check the Ready summary
Continue to Ready and confirm the interview name and number of context items. A CV plus a job description appears as two items. Choose Desktop or browser capture, complete the relevant setup, and confirm consent only when you are ready to begin transcription.
Your evidence
The CV answers “What have I done?”
Use it for projects, individual contributions, skills, decisions, and results you can stand behind. Elocira should not treat a role requirement as proof that it appears in your background.
The employer's context
The job description answers “What matters here?”
Use it for the role's responsibilities, language, seniority, and priorities. It helps identify relevance; it does not create experience you have not provided.

Practical limits
Context improves relevance, not certainty
A scanned image-only PDF, protected page, unusual document formatting, or blocked job site can produce incomplete text. Replace the source if the preview is wrong. Even with good context, suggestions can miss the point or combine details poorly, so verify every claim before using it.
Do not upload confidential employer material or personal information that is unnecessary for the interview. You can also skip both context steps and continue with guidance based on the live conversation.
Common questions
Adding interview context
Do I need a CV to use Elocira?
No. Both the CV and job description are optional. Without them, guidance has less prepared evidence about your experience and the role, but it can still use the captured question and recent conversation.
Which file types can I upload?
The guided flow accepts PDF and DOCX files up to 5 MB. You can upload one CV and one job description for the interview, or provide the job description through a public URL.
What if the job-description URL does not load?
Some sites block automated access or render the useful text only after scripts run. Save the posting as a PDF or DOCX and upload it on the Job step instead.
Does a job requirement become part of my experience?
No. Elocira separates the CV as candidate evidence from the job description as role context. You should reject or correct any suggestion that attributes an unsupported requirement to you.
Can I use a different CV for another interview?
Yes. Context added in the interview wizard belongs to that interview, so you can choose the version that accurately represents you for each role.
