Real product walkthrough

Watch a live question become usable guidance

The product clip shows the interviewer question, a manual request, and the resulting suggestion in the live console.

In this guide

Move from question to talking points without leaving the conversation

You will see what informs a suggestion, how to request one manually, how the response is organized, and what to do when it is incomplete or misses the mark. Audio capture must already be running through Elocira Desktop or a compatible browser setup.

Listen → suggest → adapt

How manual guidance works

  1. Let the interviewer complete the question

Watch the interviewer line settle in the transcript before requesting guidance. The current question and recent conversation help Elocira distinguish a new prompt from a follow-up.

  2. Tap Suggest when you want help

The Suggest control sends the available interview context for a response. The console brings Suggestions into view and shows a generating state while text begins to stream. You can cancel an active request if you no longer need it.

  3. Scan the direct answer first

Start with the short Answer section. It is written in the candidate's voice and optimized for a quick glance. Use it as direction—not as a requirement to repeat every word.

  4. Check the evidence before saying it

Keys and Explanation surface the facts and reasoning behind the response. Confirm that every claim matches your real experience. Elocira is designed not to invent candidate history, but AI output can still be wrong or unsuitable.

  5. Answer naturally in your own words

Keep eye contact and stay in the conversation. Choose the points that are accurate and relevant, then explain them in the language you would normally use rather than reading the whole card verbatim.

  6. Use the follow-up as new context

When the interviewer asks a follow-up, wait for it to appear and tap Suggest again. Elocira includes the recent exchange, so the next response can stay connected to what was already discussed.

Tell me about a product decision you changed after new evidence.

Keys

Customer research · focused experiment · 18% lower abandonment

Explanation

I used the new evidence to revise the decision, align the team around a measurable test, and compare the result after launch.

Illustrative output for fictional candidate Maya Chen. Always verify generated facts before using them.

Use it well

A better rhythm for live guidance

  • Add a clear CV and role description before the call.
  • Wait until the full question is captured.
  • Read the Answer first, then scan Keys.
  • Use only facts you recognize as true.
  • Keep your own voice and normal speaking pace.
  • Regenerate only when a new direction would genuinely help.

When guidance is not useful

Skip it, correct the context, or try again

A suggestion may be incomplete, generic, delayed, based on a transcription error, or simply wrong. You do not have to use it. Keep answering from your own knowledge, correct an important completed transcript line where supported, or regenerate after the intended question is clear.

If generation is taking attention away from the interview, cancel it and return to the conversation. Suggestions are support, not an employer-approved script or a guarantee of interview success.

Common questions

Live interview suggestions

What information shapes a live suggestion?

Elocira can use the latest question, recent transcript, your CV, the job description, relevant examples, and the latest screenshot you deliberately captured. Missing context does not prevent every suggestion, but strong, accurate source material makes personalization more useful.

Does Elocira answer automatically?

This guide covers the manual Suggest control. Elocira also has an optional Auto mode that can request guidance after interviewer speech settles. You can turn it off and use manual requests whenever you want more deliberate timing.

Should I read the response word for word?

No. Scan it for an accurate direction and useful evidence, then answer naturally. Skip anything that does not match your experience or the question you heard.

What does Regenerate do?

Regenerate asks for another response to the same captured question while the session remains live. It can produce a different emphasis, but you still need to verify the result.

Can I use suggestions from my phone?

Yes, the live console adapts to a phone and lets you view suggestions, change focus, resize text and request guidance. Supported audio capture must already be running through Desktop or a compatible browser on your computer.
