Your computer captures. Your phone keeps guidance in view.
Keep live interview guidance
within a glance on mobile
Elocira’s mobile interview console lets you read live suggestions and the transcript on your phone while your computer captures the conversation. Open the same interview in your phone’s browser, switch between panels and adjust the suggestion text size. Supported audio capture must already be running on your computer.

The conversation behind the mobile view
This existing desktop walkthrough shows interview preparation, live guidance and the completed review. It demonstrates the workflow your phone accompanies; it is not a recording of the mobile layout.
Read the walkthrough summary
Create an interview with your CV and the job description, connect Desktop, and start capture after confirming consent. The conversation builds a transcript and provides context for suggestions. After finishing, open the review. The mobile companion displays the same interview’s transcript and guidance while capture remains on the computer.

Set up a second screen for the same interview
You will connect your phone to an existing interview, learn where the mobile controls live and make suggestions comfortable to scan. Use Elocira Desktop on Windows or Linux, or a compatible computer browser capture setup. The phone is a responsive web console; this guide does not rely on phone audio capture or a separate mobile app.
Recommended desk setup
Keep the call on your computer
Computer
Meeting, microphone and supported computer-audio capture. Keep the capturing app or browser running.
Phone
The same Elocira account and interview. Place the phone on a stand near your display to read guidance.
This diagram describes the device roles, not the app interface. Test both sides of the transcript before the call. Keep the phone charged and its browser visible, and choose a position that makes a short glance comfortable.

How to use the mobile interview console
Prepare and start the interview on your computer
Add your CV and job description if you want personalized context. Confirm that everyone agrees to transcription and that the interviewing organization permits real-time AI assistance. Start your supported capture setup and verify that the interviewer and your own speech appear in the transcript.
For the first connection, follow the Windows and Linux setup guide.
Open the same interview on your phone
Visit the Elocira console in your phone’s browser and sign in to the same account. Open the device workspace and the interview already running on your computer. Check its title and recent transcript so you know you are viewing the right conversation.
Tap a preview strip to switch panels
On a narrow screen, one panel takes the main reading area. The other becomes a compact preview strip: the latest transcript lines or the latest suggestion. Tap that strip to expand it, or use the panel-switch control in the bottom bar.
Request a useful direction
After the interviewer asks a question, tap Suggest in the bottom bar. The control changes to Cancel while guidance is generating. You can also enable Auto for automatic suggestions. Read the relevant points, check them against your actual experience and answer in your own words.
Make the text comfortable to read
In the Suggestions header, use A− or A+ to decrease or increase suggestion text size. Each panel also has its own auto-scroll control. Turn auto-scroll off when you want to stay with an earlier passage; enable it again to follow new content.
Pause for a break or finish when the call ends
With connected Desktop capture, use the capture status control to open Pause or Finish interview. Pause temporarily stops capture; Finish interview completes the session and cannot be undone by resuming it. You can also find Finish interview under Interview actions. For browser capture, manage the audio source from the computer browser that started it.
Know the controls before the call
Read, switch and request from your phone
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Transcript / Suggestions preview | Expands that panel without leaving the interview. |
| Suggest / Cancel | Requests guidance or stops the current generation. |
| Auto | Turns automatic suggestions on or off. |
| A− / A+ | Changes suggestion text size. |
| Auto-scroll | Controls whether that panel follows new content. |
| Camera | Requests a screenshot from connected Desktop. It does not use your phone’s camera or capture the phone screen. |
For what goes into an answer, see live AI interview guidance. To choose when suggestions appear, read the automatic suggestions guide.
What Elocira uses
The same interview context
Guidance can draw from the current question, recent transcript, your supplied CV and job description, saved guidance preferences and the latest available screenshot. Opening the phone console does not create a separate interview or replace these inputs.
What you control
Your reading view and requests
Choose the expanded panel, suggestion font size and each panel’s auto-scroll behavior. Request or cancel suggestions, choose automatic guidance and decide which points to use. Keep the computer’s capture state in view when making changes.
Practical limits
Check the connection before relying on the view
Your phone and computer need a working connection. If the transcript stops advancing, check the capturing computer, selected audio sources and connection status. Increasing the phone’s volume will not repair missing computer audio.
A locked phone or backgrounded browser may interrupt live updates. Return to the console and verify fresh transcript lines before requesting guidance. Do a short practice run with your actual phone, browser and desk setup so the controls feel familiar.
Viewing guidance on a separate device does not change the interview’s rules. Confirm permission before using AI assistance, and keep your attention on the interviewer rather than reading a response verbatim.
Common questions
Using Elocira on a phone
Do I need to install a mobile app?
No separate mobile app is needed for this workflow. Open the responsive Elocira console in your phone’s browser and sign in to the account you use on your computer.
Can my phone replace the computer’s audio capture?
This companion setup requires supported capture already running on the computer. Opening the console on a phone does not move the meeting audio or microphone capture to the phone.
Why do I see only one full panel?
The mobile layout gives one panel the reading space and keeps the other visible as a compact preview. Tap the preview or the bottom panel-switch control to move between transcript and suggestions.
Does the camera button take a photo with my phone?
No. It requests a computer screenshot through connected Elocira Desktop. Check the captured image in the transcript timeline and remove it if it includes something you did not intend to keep.
Should I pause or finish when I take a break?
Pause if you expect to resume the same interview. Finish interview completes it and opens the post-interview review flow; that interview cannot be resumed afterward.
